Here' a list of available firmware updates officially released by Samsung Kies server for Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 all over the world. This android smartphone was released in late October 2011 and was originally packed with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS version. After a few months since it's public released the firmware updates had also been rolled out to some selected countries worldwide.
Another variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note is the GT-N7003 and Samsung Galaxy Note GT- I717 in US, so just check out for that to avoid any confusion because it also runs in other firmware build or it has a different hardware specifications. The Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7003 packed in Qualcomm Snapdragon 8255T, a single core processor unlikely compared to Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 which is powered in a relatively dual-core processor 1.4GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor, Mali-400MP GPU, Samsung Exynos 4210 chipset.

For the record:
Official Ice Cream Sandwich firmware upgrade was released on Kies May 10, 2012. Germany the first country in the world got the said ICS upgrade of the Galaxy Note.
