Asian version of Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 is now getting the official Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread firmware updates. The firmware build number is N7000DXKL3 with a build date of 2011-12-23. This is an upgrade from previous build N7000DXKL1 and N7000DXKK1 which are Android 2.3.5.
Almost south east Asian countries will receive the said update like Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines. So just check out the firmware update on Kies or via OTA update notifications.

As of today, 2012-1-12, Samsung have retracted the firmware update.
ReplyDeleteYesterday, the firmware shows a KL3 upgrade. Tried to upgrade but KIES timeout the update after download the firmware.
I am surprise why they release the firmware without testing it out.
