Optus is the first carrier getting a new official Android 4.0. 3 Ice Cream Sandwich for Samsung Galaxy S2 in Australia. The firmware with build number I9100XWLP4 recently leaks, a same build number that also recently pushed out in Belgium.
This has been a good news for all Optus subscribers for they get the most first to experience an Android 4.0.3 on their Galaxy S2 devices. Telstra and Vodafone might be also getting an ICS treats sooner. We just already spotted the firmware is on Samsung Kies server, and probably will be push out anytime now via OTA (Over the Air) update or either Samsung Kies. This an upgrade from previous build I9100XWKK2 Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread. So, just check it out,
