I upgraded my phone successfully using these instructions. The phone failed to reconnect to my PC after reboot (last step), so I didn't get to PASS, but upgrade was OK nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteOne important issue with this upgrade, RTL languages (incl. Hebrew) aren't supported correctly. We're back to inversed text in Gmail, etc.
When I start running Odin as written, I didn't got any further then <1> amss.mbn download..
ReplyDeleteAnd if I turn my phone one the samsung logo pops up and than a phone connected to pc with a cable with symbol on it

ReplyDeleteThanks man.. u saved y phone.....it was stucked in Custom ICS Rom....
ReplyDeleteAfter a succesfull installation, the phone keeps rebooting. Can anybody help me please?
ReplyDelete@Lieven,
ReplyDeleteYou missed to factory reset.. that's what happens.
Do full factory reset or wipe data cache. *2767*3855#
hi wat is this com5 in my odin showing 1(com 14)?
ReplyDeleteCOM is the USB port ID of your computer registered in Odin, everyone has different COM ID number. Its not a big deal as long Odin shows a COM number and Odin detected the phone, then your okay to flash. lol!
ReplyDeleteCan you use this method if your phone is running cm7?
ReplyDeleteI followed the instructions but now its stuck at dbl.mbn download from the past 14 minutes what to do need urgent help
ReplyDelete@Shaun Nicholson
ReplyDeleteRefer to CM7 team if there is no issue occurred after returning back to stock..
