T769UVLF4 US T-Mobile Galaxy S Blaze 4G SGH-T769 Android 2.3.6 Stock Firmware

This is the Galaxy S Blaze 4G new maintenance firmware update released July 16th, this is  pack on Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread, probably a preparation for the Ice Cream Sandwich to be released soon just like the Samsung Galaxy S II. We hope that same scenario plays out here as well. A new Samsung SGH-T769 phone features WCDMA bands of 850/AWS/1900, as a T-Mobile 4G device and feature an 800 x 480 display, an ARM11 processor.

List of improvements:

    E911 issue over Wi-Fi resolved
Echo issue when on Hearing Aid Compatibility (HAC) call
    Proximity Sensor improved

T-Mobile’s support site specifically says that “Samsung and T-Mobile plan to release a software update for the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G that updates the device software to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The dates for this future update are TBD.” We saw something very similar for the Galaxy S II as a small maintenance update arrived a few weeks before Ice Cream Sandwich. Stay tuned for Ice Cream Sandwich Blaze 4G owners.
