Singapore Samsung Galaxy S2 ICS 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich Firmware Upgrade Release

Singapore users of unbranded Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100 are going to receive the official Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich for their devices. The ICS firmware update is now on Kies with build number I9100DXLP9, an update from previous build I9100DXKL3. It seems that Singapore was left behind a few weeks among some other Asian countries for the said Galaxy S2 ICS upgrade, but not almost because Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam still no signs of update yet, as we speak.

In addition, Singapore now got the latest firmware build version than the I9100DXLP7 that previously released in Indonesia and Philippines. So, anyone who got an unbranded version of Galaxy S2, just keep an eye for the update on Kies. Other Galaxy S2 variant in Singapore like with Singtel carrier might probably follow soon. For now, there is no signs of update yet also from Kies.

  1. Samsung doesnt seem to be interested in providing any ICS 4.0.3 updates for India SIM Free users. Gonna be boycotting all frigging Samsung products henceforth...guess India is no longer a favored market due to their revenue generation model. Are operators sharing profits with Samsung, if that is case no wonder SiM free India users are on the last of the Samsung users to be upgraded. Frigging 2.3.6 still so far. Kies -" Worst ever Phone sync software". Wish i cud go back to my Nokia fones.

  7. Just try to re-configure the APN settings, it was probably reset Starhub. The yellow triangle can be easily remove using chainfire's triangle away zip file.

  9. It's not a CWM flashable zip sir Daniel, it's Odin flashable tar file that you need to extract and flash using Odin flasher.
